Field Day & Parade

Field Day and Parade is back for 2022!!! Come celebrate with us for the first time since 2019.

For over 80 years, Mansfield Township has celebrated the start of the summer season with the Columbus Annual Field Day and Parade.  The event is held on the second Saturday of June at the Mansfield Community Park on East Main Street.  In the event of inclement weather, the event is held on the second Sunday.

The parade starts at 11:00 AM (1:00 PM Sunday if rescheduled due to inclement weather) and runs from Sheffield Dr to East Main St.  After the parade, stop by the park for live entertainment, delicious food options, craft vendors, the crowning of Lil' Miss Columbus, games, rides and more!

 

Want to be in the parade?  Decorate your bike, tractor or car to ride in the parade.  Enter a float with your family, friends or organization. March as an individual or as part of a group.  Click here to register.

interested in selling food at the event?

Fill out a registration form to be considered as a food vendor.  Once accepted, there is a $50 fee due payable to:

Setup time runs from 8:00-10:00 AM with Field Day starting right after the parade.  Setup must be completed by 10:15 AM and all of Main St will be closed at 10:45 AM.

(In case of a postponed event due to weather, setup time on Sunday is from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and must be done by 12:15 PM). 

If you have a generator on your food truck, you must have a fire extinguisher.  Click here for the food truck permit application.

Non-profit organizations are exempt from the fee.  Please click here to email a copy of your tax-exempt letter.

Vendors should bring their own table, chair and tent, if required.  Any tents must be weighted down or staked in the ground in case of wind.
